Welcome to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Recycling Page

WDC, Whale and Dolphin Conservation, is the leading global charity dedicated to the conservation and protection of whales and dolphins. The charity defends these remarkable creatures against the many threats they face through:

  • Campaigns
  • Lobbying
  • Advising governments
  • Conservation projects
  • Field research and rescue

WDC is working towards a world where every whale and dolphin is safe and free. A world without captivity, without hunting; a world where whales and dolphins are free of the dangers of pollution or the threat of being captured or killed in nets.

By recycling your empty inkjets, you can raise vital funds for the whales and dolphins. Recycling really can make a difference:

  • £3.50 can teach one child about conservation
  • £10 can buy fish-filleting equipment for a women’s cooperative in Colombia
  • £25 can teach 100 children about marine wildlife in Argentina
  • £50 can buy a tank of fuel for a river dolphin survey boat in Colombia
  • £100 can get a medic to a whale or dolphin stranded in Argentina
  • £1000 could buy a rescue kit for a whale or dolphin stranded in Scotland

Since becoming a partner of the Whale and Dolphin, The Recycling Factory have donated over £2,400 but we don’t want it to stop there. So, please continue to recycle for the Whale and Dolphin Conservation and help us grow our partnership.

This recycling scheme for charities is a completely free of charge service. We donate 100% of the value of all inkjet cartridges, which are successfully recycled.

Only selected inkjet cartridges are eligible for a donation, therefore please ensure that you check to see if the cartridge that you intend to recycle is listed. If the inkjet cartridge is listed, simply click on the freepost downloadable label below and affix this to your own packaging.

The weight limit for the freepost label is 1kg, but don’t worry if you have multiple items that exceed the weight limit, you can split these into smaller packages and use another label.

If you would like to recycle laser toner cartridges, please contact us via info@trf-uk.com for more information.
