The Polycystic Kidney (PKD) Charity UK was established in 2000 by patients, healthcare professionals and members of families affected by all forms of PKD. We estimate that, in the UK, up to 70,000 adults and children are affected by the more common form of PKD – Autosomal Dominant PKD, and approximately 2,000 children and adults are affected by the rarer form – ARPKD (Autosomal Recessive PKD). Both forms of PKD are life-threatening inherited conditions that can cause renal (kidney) failure and affect other organs in the body.
Our mission is to improve the lives of everyone affected by PKD. We want to give hope for the future; and make PKD irrelevant and ultimately curable.
As a very small charity we truly appreciate your tremendous support in helping make a difference to anyone affected by PKD. Thank you.
This recycling scheme for charities is a completely free of charge service. We donate 100% of the value of all inkjet cartridges, which are successfully recycled.
Only selected inkjet cartridges are eligible for a donation, therefore please ensure that you check to see if the cartridge that you intend to recycle is listed.
