1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime and from 48,000 new cases each year nearly 12,000 will die, sadly most due to late diagnosis.
Prost8 UK strives to ensure more men survive prostate cancer by:
All with special emphasis on enhancing post prostate cancer lifestyle outcomes.
Catching prostate cancer late means many less invasive treatment options are no longer suitable. That will seriously impact lifestyle outcomes, the main concerns being incontinence and erectile dysfunction, not to mention greatly reduced survival rates.
There have been some astonishing breakthroughs in prostate cancer treatment in recent years, such as Focal Ablation using High Intensity Focal Ultrasound (HIFU) and Cryotherapy which treats prostate cancer with minimal side effects.
Join us in the fight. After all, it is a 1 in 8 chance that one day it will be YOU or someone you love!
This recycling scheme for charities is a completely free of charge service. We donate 100% of the value of all inkjet cartridges, which are successfully recycled. Only selected inkjet cartridges are eligible for a donation, therefore please ensure that you check to see if the cartridge that you intend to recycle is listed. If the inkjet cartridge is listed, simply click on the freepost downloadable label below and affix this to your own packaging. The weight limit for the freepost label is 1kg, but don’t worry if you have multiple items that exceed the weight limit, you can split these into smaller packages and use another label. If you would like to recycle laser toner cartridges, please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
