Check your cartridges* are eligible for recycling from our eligible cartridge list. Sign up and register using our simple online form and order your free recycling box.
When your recycling box is full** simply, take it to your local post office to return your empty cartridges for recycling.
Get paid, once the returned cartridge have been processed we will make the donation to the charity of your choice.
The Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) is an education and visitor centre which demonstrates practical solutions for sustainability. The charity covers all aspects of green living: environmental building, eco-sanitation, woodland management, renewable energy, energy efficiency and organic growing.
CAT has the largest range of installed renewable systems anywhere including: Biomass combined heat and power, a micro-grid and Solar thermal.
CAT have a holistic approach to their work, integrating ideas and practice relating to land use, shelter, energy conservation and use, diet and health, waste management and recycling. This great charity offers curriculum-based education to visiting schools, colleges and universities. As well as offering a free information service answering enquiries on all aspects of sustainable living.
Since becoming a partner of the Centre for Alternative Technology, The Recycling Factory have donated over £500 but we don’t want it to stop there. So, please continue to recycle for the Centre for Alternative Technology and help us grow our partnership.
This recycling scheme for charities is a completely free of charge service. We donate 100% of the value of all inkjet cartridges, which are successfully recycled.
Only selected inkjet cartridges are eligible for a donation, therefore please ensure that you check to see if the cartridge that you intend to recycle is listed.
