They aim to bring high standards of quality health and social care within reach of everyone affected by MS and to encourage, support and fund research into its cause and symptoms.
MS is devastating. It is a little understood and complex neurological condition and its symptoms are unpredictable and can include intense pain, deadening fatigue and problems with sight, memory and mobility. 100,000 people in theUKbattle daily with MS and seven new people are diagnosed with it every day. Yet there is still no cure.
The MS Society’s objective is to enable everyone affected by MS to live life to their full potential and secure the care and support they need, until ultimately, a cure is found.
