The OHSAS 18001 is an internationally recognised standard and provides a framework for managing Occupational Health and Safety responsibilities so they become more efficient and more integrated into overall business operations with improved OHS performance and compliance with legislation. OHSAS 18001 certification ensures a holistic approach to the identification and management of health and safety risks and therefore the potential for a healthier and safer working environment and the avoidance of accidents and occupational health problems to reduce the time lost through
employee illness and injury.
International Standard EN ISO 9001:2008
The ISO 9001:2008 accreditation is an internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. It demonstrates that The Recycling Factory has an effective quality management system in place, and that we are committed to quality, customers and a willingness to work towards continuously improving efficiency.
The Board of Directors of the DCI group are fully committed to the International Standard EN ISO 14001:2004. Accreditation is a further endorsement of the company’s commitment to preventing pollution and complying with current European Environmental legislation. Our products are designed to meet customer environmental requirements by using where possible recyclable materials and reducing packaging.
The Recycling Factory is accredited by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The FSC was established in 1993 to tackle growing concerns about global deforestation. It is an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests.
The logo is shown on our own product packaging where applicable, confirming that the card and paper complies with the FSC standard.
The British Retail Consortium Global Standards are a leading global product safety and quality certification program used by certificated suppliers in over 100 countries.
The BRC standards are achieved through third party auditing. The certificate is awarded to reassure retailers and customers of the competence of the supplier.
This accreditation is important to The Recycling Factory as it demonstrates our commitment to maintaining high standards in quality, safety and legal aspects.
The BRC logo is a trademark belonging to the British Retail Consortium, which is used under licence.
