How it works
Many ink cartridges can be used more than once. At The Recycling Factory we have designed processes and manufactured equipment to allow us to clean and refill used ink cartridges that are returned to us.
We offer Tesco Clubcard points for selected ink cartridges manufactured by Hewlett Packard, Lexmark and Dell, these include Tesco branded cartridges. Please see the ink cartridge recycling list below for a complete list of all the ink cartridges we can successfully recycle, and therefore cartridges for which you can receive Clubcard points.
Unfortunately, due to the technology, we cannot offer Clubcard points for the majority of ink tanks manufactured by Epson and Canon. We will not award points for non virgin cartridges.
Any cartridges that are unusable or damaged are broken down and the plastics and metals that are recovered are recycled - not sent to landfill.
The Recycling Factory, working in partnership with Tesco would like to announce changes to their Ink Cartridge Recycling Scheme:
Commencing 1st November 2008 the following revised list of cartridges accepted under the recycling scheme will be active. Any items that were previously accepted and do not appear on the revised list will no longer be processed for Clubcard points or donations to CLIC Sargent Campaign.
