UK Recycler Raises over £3.5 million for UK charities

– Recycling Partnership Gets a ‘Green’ Revamp & Sees Growth for 2015 –

The UK’s leading recycler of inkjet and toner cartridges, The Recycling Factory (TRF), has this week announced a new personal best of £3,580,178.41 in donations raised for its charity partners.

Running zero cost recycling schemes for thousands of charities across the UK, the Lincolnshire based recycler helps charities, schools and clubs to raise valuable funds by recycling inkjet cartridges donated by supporters.

Cassandra Gonzalez, TRF’s Departmental Manger, comments: ‘We are incredibly proud of the amount raised through recycling cartridges as it means we can help make a real difference for both our charity partners, as well as reducing landfill. However, thanks must go to our charity partners and their loyal supporters for all their relentless support and hard work in publicising the schemes.

This new comes just after the company has undergone a ‘green’ revamp. Cassandra explains: ‘As the industry’s largest UK recycler we are always striving to reduce our carbon footprint , at the same time as ensuring our charity partners receive the very best in service, and 2015 has already seen some very innovative changes.

‘Now charity supporters can instantly download a freepost label for their chosen charity, as well as booking a free courier collection in just seconds. We are also working closely with our partners to lead the way in digital marketing, ensuring all campaigns achieve maximum awareness.’

TRF collects printer cartridges via freepost schemes as well as through free courier collections – all at no cost to the charity. For each inkjet cartridge successfully recycled, 100% of the value is donated. TRF has recently welcomed partnerships with ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, RNIB, RSPB, Scottish SPCA and Amnesty International.
